STUDY PLAY FOOTBALL IN THE USA
California, USA tour and las vegas mayors cup showcase
The project entails a 5-month preparation phase where the XP FC team of coaches and technical staff will prepare a team to eventually go tour California, USA and ultimately compete in the Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup Showcase tournament.
XP FC is a programme run by a team of coaches led by UEFA A licensed coaches. With technical staff who work in and around professional clubs in South Africa. With experience at the highest level of the game, these coaches aim to pass their knowledge onto the youth of Southern Africa, specifically at the school-age level, a neglected environment within football structures in Southern Africa.
XP FC has the experience and know-how when it comes to competing internationally. One of the company’s service offerings is of preparing overseas trips and tours for schools and clubs to compete on the international stage
The service comprises of preparation, organisation and arrangement of the entire project on a technical and logistical basis respectively. This team will represent XPFC in the USA, in a tour of California, culminating in the team competing in the Las Vegas Mayors’ Cup Showcase tournament in the state of Nevada. The Mayor’s Cup is known to attract some of the biggest college and University scouts from across the USA. The opportunity to achieve scholarships and invitations to study abroad is a possibility and something we hope to achieve with this group. XPFC have a strong relationship with Ryerson soccer which is one of the biggest youth football programmes in the United States. XPFC and Ryerson soccer plan and create the whole experience for the touring teams.
